GIMME A "C"!!!! A friend of mine was at the El Cortez on October 5, 2007 to inspect the neon lights.
I thought you might enjoy a couple of photos he brought back.
This shot below looks west to Point Loma, with St Joseph's Cathedral, at 3rd and Beech, at the lower middle of the photo. It almost looks like northbound I-5, at the right, bends around to become part of the runway at Lindbergh Field.
