Mike Linder '66 shares his Pacific Coast League Padres 1959 Junior Boosters Club Season Pass as well as the cover of the program to the October 7, 1962 game between the San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Texans at Balboa Stadium. The Dallas Texans later became the Kansas City Chiefs. The 1959 Padres played at Westgate Park.
The Dallas Texans were relocated to Kansas City and became the Chiefs in 1963 after Lamar Hunt decided that Dallas wasn't big enough for two football teams. The Chargers will open the season this year playing the Chiefs in Kansas City. Snowy Owl
