Eschewing the microphone, the Admiral worked the crowd, talking about the state of Naval Aviation -- getting Hornets to last until the F-35 enters the fleet and trying to cobble together enough P-3s. On a positive note, he waxed rhapsodic about the "Romeo" and "Sierra" Seahawk models -- apparently "not your father's helicopters". He said a rotary pilot might serve as CAG in the not too distant future.
