This would have been directly across El Cajon Boulevard from Andy's Saloon.  Check out the phone booth on the left. Quite an improvement from the old, clunky, wooden phone booths.  That 1955 Oldsmobile on the right looks a lot like the Fry Family auto of the same era.

This Google street view from January 2023 is about as close as I could get.  The tree left of center is hiding the Harvey's Motel sign.
