This photo looks northeast to the sprawling pink complex that once was the Navy Hospital.  Just below it you can make out the ivy-covered walls of the Old Gray Castle -- San Diego High.  Adjacent to the high school, to the right, is Russ Auditorium.  The Hotel Churchill, for your reference, is located at 827 C Street.
