Back in mid-December I had a call from Ervin Somogyi ’61, who in turn had been contacted by Rick Franzen ‘61. Rick wanted the three of us to get together. I've seen Ervin in the last few years but Rick not since we graduated. We met on January 8, 2007 at a Vietnamese restaurant in Walnut Creek and had a great mini-reunion lasting a bit over four hours. We agreed to get together again later this spring after Rick returns from Puebla, where he and his wife have a second home. In our senior year, Ervin was ASB President, Rick was ASB Vice President, and I wasn't anything. (Curiously, I checked the '61 Centaur and discovered it had a major omission: the senior class officers were not listed! Boy, Editor-in-Chief Marion Pasas has egg on her face!!
