Marian's father -- Dr. Keith P. Blair -- was the Fry Family dentist.  When I would pick my Mom up after a dental appointment she would always trundle out with a bag of warm cookies.  I can only assume Mrs Blair baked them on site.  I used to pretend that Dr. Blair sent his patients off with a hearty "Don't forget NOT to brush!"
