Maynard's was the "happening place" in the
'60s and '70s. Spaghetti Night, Taco Night, and Sunday morning Spanish
Omelets. 25¢ would buy you one, but you might order two just to make
sure you didn't leave hungry. Underage diners could order from the
outside window on Ocean Boulevard. When Maynard's closed, Owen the Cook
went to Tug's.
