San Diego Harbor at Dusk • December 1974

I was scanning some slides for my friend Linda Thomas  -- the usual vacation, birthday, wedding stuff -- when one slide stopped me in my tracks.  "Oh," she said, "I got that from a friend.  He was diving outside the bay and took it."  Wow!  It's a completely different prospective, with Point Loma looking a lot like the Rock of Gibraltar.  Downtown is a lot smaller, and Cowles Mountain still has the fading memory of an "S" placed there by students from San Diego State.
