Looking south on Pacific Coast Highway in the days before the I-5 freeway.  I think Eiler Larsen -- the Laguna Beach Greeter -- took up his post at the other end of town.  A 1960 Ford station wagon is about to make the turn south, while a snazzy two-tone '56 Chevy is parked at the curb in the foreground.  I think the Lemon Chiffon beauty in front of it is a Thunderbird, but I can't tell the year.  I have an early memory of a school bus trip to Knott's Berry Farm (before there was a Disneyland) and stopping at a bus station perhaps a block south of here so the passengers could get a snack and use the bathroom.
