Looking northeast across Presidio Hill, which will wait another 5 years or so for George Marston to underwrite the construction of the Serra Museum building.  That may be the Estudillo House, left of center, now known as the Cosmopolitan Hotel, as it was a hundred years ago.  Looks like heading down Juan Street hill is an adventure, with what I assume is a circuitous detour around someones property.  That looks like a railroad underpass at the lower right.  Someone smarter than me can find a map and tell me what streets we're looking at.
