The Pacer for May 11, 1961 includes a photo and story about a hummingbird. Turns out, I'd also taken a photo of that hummingbird. I used a ladder and bare tube fill flash, wanting to show how close people came to the nest. I think the guy in the photo is Gordon Beekley '61. The story said the nest was between the Library and Faculty Lot, but my memory has it south of the wing that had the science labs. The Pacer photographers at the time were listed as Tim Scroggs and Ernie Cowan. Maybe one of them can remember taking the Pacer photo -- Bob Richardson '61
