This photo was posted on the Vintage San Diego Facebook page by Rich Medhurst who said it was from an old family photo album with the notation "New Harbison Canyon Cutoff."  I can't figure out what direction we're looking at.  Can you see the sign on this side of the car?  The first line says, "SLOW".  The second two lines may say, "Roadwork Ahead".  I hope it doesn't say "Scenic View" and the guy stopped his car on the road to take a picture.
