I posted this 1956 advertisement for the Menlo Market and got a response from someone who worked there as a teenager with John Worona.  "Do you remember what happened to John Worona," he asked.  "His brother Dan graduated with me in 1962", I responded,"but I know nothing more."  I typed "John Worona" into the UT archives and came up with the ad below, which I'd seen in the misty past because my best buddy Ken Ptack was oneof the featured "Boxboys".  It took a little detective work to come up with the horrible event he was referring to.
